It's been hectic!
It's been mad!
Busy!
Busy!
Busy!
Conveyor belt baking and knitting....
Christmas Eve Supper for nine, my boys' uncontained joy, Christmas Day out with family, presents which deserve their own post, comsumption of a 'loch' of wine (worried I'll soon be peeing red!), my own body weight in meat and chocolate (already!?!?), Doctor Who and a couple of weeks worth of lack of sleep. Aah Christmas............
So by Boxing Day all I craved was a sit down, daydreams of turkey and stuffing sandwiches and knitting without deadlines!
Both bliss and recovery I think!!

Ooh I love your knitting!!! Aren't you clever!! And all those cakes - they are so pretty! Hope you're having a relaxing Christmas. xxx
ReplyDeleteHello Jessica!!
ReplyDeleteTanya, I agree, I felt very clever over those stockings for the teachers and was so looking forward to giving them BUT the snow caused school to close on the morn of the last day (about five minutes after I took the photo)so we were a little gutted. My boys had worked so hard on that shortbread.
I am still eating those gorgeous cakes, I do love them. If you need to you can find them in Nigella's Domestic Goddess book.
